National meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHS) of ECMWF Member and Co-operating States and their authorised users, are granted full access to ECMWF products and services via their computing representative.

This page describes the pricing for the different services available at ECMWF. Please note that, unless indicated otherwise, all fees are charged annually.

Service Agreement for Real-time Data Dissemination
ECMWF Service Charge Model is used for the pricing of ECMWF real-time data disseminated by ECMWF.
The total cost of a Real-time Data Dissemination Service Agreement can be split into two parts, whose sum gives the 'Service Charge' fee :
- Two components:
- Volume Band cost: Based on the volume of daily data produced (calculated before any compression) for a user.
- Service Pack cost: Service Packages contains a selection of delivery services which will be provided together with the selected data.

Service Agreement for ECMWF Web API
Access to the ECMWF Archive through the ECMWF Web API is subject to Service Charges. For commercial users, the current cost is 3,000 EUR per year.
Reduced fees are available for small businesses, this is a 50% discount on Service Charges. This means the annual fee is 1,500 EUR. 'Micro' businesses are defined as companies with less than 10 staff headcount, and an annual turnover or balance sheet of no more than 2 million euros.
The Service Charge fee also may be waived at ECMWF's discretion for Researchers or other organisations operating for societal benefit. Please see Service Agreements and User Cases for more information.
Access to the ECMWF Archive is also be included in selected Real-time Data Dissemination Service Packages (Gold; see the Service Packages). Please note that any corporate group or organisation is limited to a maximum of three access accounts, acquired via any of the Service Agreements.
Service Agreement for Advanced Web Services
Access to ecCharts and ecCharts Web Map Services is available for 1,000 EUR per year for all commercial users.
Access can also be included in selected Real-time Data Dissemination Service Packages (Silver and Gold; see the Service Packages)
For NMHS of WMO Countries, the one access account is free of charge. For each additional account the fee is 1,000 EUR per year.
