Leader of the ECMWF group that completed the ensemble ocean re-analysis ORAS4, one of the best data to evaluate ocean climate variability, and that has been involved in the development of a prototype coupled ocean-land-atmosphere data assimilation system. Responsible for research and development of the ECMWF coupled ocean-land-atmosphere-cryosphere ensembles, and coordinator of the European project ERA-CLIM2.
