ECMWF is taking part in this year’s Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological Society (EMS), 6 to 11 September, in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and online.
This event is an opportunity to discuss our work with scientists from across the world. Our staff are participating in a broad range of sessions, covering topics such as AI and physics-based forecasting, weather and climate extremes, Earth system data, hydrology, data assimilation, and more.
The thematic focus of the 2026 EMS Annual Meeting is the challenges posed by climate change for European meteorological infrastructure, with a focus on developing tools for early warnings and societal preparedness in a changing European climate.
