Météo France, the UK Met Office and ECMWF jointly organised a dedicated workshop on the use of GIS systems in meteorology. The workshop was held at ECMWF, Reading, from 24 to 26 November 2008, and was a great success with over 100 participants from various disciplines and organisations worldwide.
