Abstract

The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) has been contacted by the European Space Agency (ESA) to perform a preliminary evaluation of the Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) wind speed products. This report presents the results of the work done in the framework of the ESA contract 4000101703/10/NL/FF/fk CCN5, WP4060.
