ERA-Interim is a global atmospheric reanalysis from 1979, continuously updated in real time. The data products include a variety of surface parameters, describing weather as well as ocean-wave and land-surface conditions. It further includes parameters covering the troposphere and stratosphere, offering a range of 60 pressure levels.
It’s successor is the ERA5 reanalysis from the Copernicus Climate Change Service.
Users are strongly advised to migrate to ERA5 from the Climate Data Store (CDS).
