ECMWF training courses are free to anyone working/studying in a country that is one of our Member State and Co-operating States (MS/CS). Furthermore, participants from WMO or from WMO National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (WMO NMHS) are eligible for a 50% reduction in course fees.
Applicants from International Organisations and non-Member and Co-operating States of ECMWF may also apply to attend any of the training courses. For these applicants a course fee is payable. Applicants who are required to pay a fee must indicate on their application form which institution will be responsible for paying the fee(s).
Priority is given to Member and Co-operating State applications.
Please note that we undertake an annual review of our fees, and any potential increase will always be taking into account the European mean inflation rate for educational products and services, as well as adapting to changing needs and workloads connected to the organisation of our trainings.
