National meteorological services of ECMWF Member and Co-operating States and their authorised users are granted full access to ECMWF archive products via their computing representative.
All other users will need to sign a Service Agreement to gain access to the Catalogue of ECMWF Archive Products via the ECMWF web API service. Please see Service Agreements and Use cases and Service Agreement Pricing for more information on individual users and pricing.
1. Review the service
Before placing an order for access to the Catalogue of ECMWF Archive Products via the Products Requirements Catalogue. Please, check the pubic datasests and reanalysis datasets that are available free-of-charge (individual terms and conditions may apply).
If these do not meet your requirements:
- Check in the Catalogue of ECMWF Archive Products that the products you require are Archived by ECMWF
- Check the Service Agreements and Use cases and Service Agreement Pricing to determine your fees or if you are eligible for a Service 'fee waiver'
- Read about the ECMWF web API service
2. Request access to ECMWF Archive Products
Once you have have decided to proceed, please contact the ECMWF Data Support Team or place an order via the Products Requirements Catalogue.
