Applications are open for a workshop at ECMWF on 8 and 9 May 2018 exploring how businesses can benefit from hydrology forecasts. It is a unique opportunity for businesses to meet the Global Flood Awareness System (GloFAS) development team and influence the future shape of its hydrological services and forecasting products.

GloFAS is a hydrological service, currently providing global overviews of upcoming flood events (up to 30 days ahead) and of high and low flow (up to 4 months ahead) in rivers across the world.

The workshop agenda includes real-life case studies from guest speakers and structured activities to discover and prioritise future service provision.

For full details and to register, please visit the Hydrological services for business workshop web page.

Registration closes 30 March 2018.
