Simulations with IFS/HOPE

• Results from ensembles of 3 start dates (1965, 1988 and 1994)

• Seasonal mean climatologies of 2m temperature (global maps)
• Time series of global and regional monthly mean 2m temperature and bias
• Radiation related plots (time series and global maps of T2m, radiation and clouds)

• Comparison of the albedo-bug-fixed runs with old runs

SST plots for various regions comparing the old experiments (Cy30R1 incl albedo bug [blue]) vs the new experiments (Cy31R1 with albedo bug fixed [red]):

• Model drift from the 1965 and 1994 start dates
• Forecast anomalies wrt observed climatology for 1965 and 1994 start dates

Multi-model simulations

• Time series of global and regional annual mean 2m temperature from the initial-condition multi-model plus the DePreSyS perturbed physics ensemble
