to check the availability of the data that interest you. If you wish to have a
costing or to place a request for data you can use our
On-line costing
system. Alternatively
you may also follow the steps below to find the data that interests you :
- STEP 1 : Select a data archive
Initially you need to select an
archive from our data catalogue
, which includes links to all available ECMWF data archives: - STEP 2 : Select the subset that interests
you
Once you have selected a data archive you need to select one of the
available subsets. E.g. the available subsets for "ERA-40"
archive are: - Basic 2.5°
- Full Resolution
- Wave
- Monthly Means
- STEP 3 : Select the
data set that interests you
Once you have selected a subset (from a particular
archive) you need to select a data set. E.g. the available data sets for the
"ERA-40 Basic 2.5° " subset are: - Basic surface
analysis
- Basic pressure level analysis
- Basic
forecast accumulation
- STEP 4 : Check the availability
and select the data (i.e. parameters, levels, times etc.) that interest you
for the specific data set that you have selected.
Each data set's web
page includes the following : - a brief description of the data set
-
the availability of the products of the specific data set
- the changes
that have taken place in the specific data set
- links to useful technical
information (e.g. model levels definitions, GRIB tables etc.)
- the "order
forms of the data set" (pdf format)
- the "ECMWF data ordering
instructions and standard forms" (pdf format)
