Introduction
ECMWF has an extensive education and training programme to assist Member
States and Co-operating States in the training of scientists in numerical
weather forecasting, and in making use of the ECMWF computer facilities.
Both meteorological and computer user training courses consist of modules
that can be attended separately. Participants can attend the different
modules in different years.
In addition to the training courses, ECMWF organises a seminar and a number
of workshops every year. The subjects vary from
year to year.
