9th Workshop on Meteorological Operational Systems

ECMWF will hold its ninth workshop on Meteorological Operational Systems at its headquarters, Shinfield Park, Reading, U.K., 10 to 14 November 2003.

The objective of the workshop is to review the state of the art of meteorological operational systems and to address future trends in

1. the use and interpretation of medium-range forecast guidance,
2. operational data management systems,
3. meteorological visualisation applications.

It is expected that the workshop will be organised under these main subjects.
