Real Applications on Parallel Systems (RAPS) is a European Software Initiative. It comprises of the RAPS Consortium (founded in the early 1990's) and a Working group of Hardware Vendors. The partners of the RAPS Consortium develop portable parallel versions of their production codes which are made available to the Working Group of Hardware Vendors for benchmarking and testing.
Regular RAPS workshops have been held in recent years. The 22nd RAPS workshop was held in Jussieu, Paris on 21-22 June 2007.
