The first GEMS Annual Assembly will be held at ECMWF from 6 to 10 February 2006.
The main goals of the 2006 Assembly are to review progress, to update the plan for the next period (March 2006- August 2007), and to provide guidance on financial reporting. The updated plan for March 2006 - August 2007 will be the most important outcome of the Assembly. The timing of the assembly facilitates preparation of the formal activity reports and management reports which we must make on the first year (March 2005 - Feb 2006), for delivery to the EU by mid April 2006 at the latest.
