The general principles and values of ECMWF include competence, professionalism, honesty, integrity, transparency, fair and equal treatment, team spirit and mutual respect and discretion.

These principles and values are to be upheld by all staff, regardless of their duties, responsibilities and position. The staff of ECMWF are expected to contribute to a workplace culture where honesty and integrity prevail.
