In preparing the book Medium-Range Weather Prediction the European Approach ISBN-13: 978-0387-26928-3, many archive documents were consulted, including those in the COST archives in Brussels, in the archives of the Deutscher Wetterdienst in Offenbach, in the archives of the Meteorological Office of the United Kingdom, and of course in the Centre's archives.
Copies of many of these documents are now archived at the Centre, and will be available for historians of the future. A selection is included in this web site.
Also included here are some photographs, and audio recordings from the first Council session.
